In only a few short years, Anna Sonnenburg has established herself as a natural dance floor controller, developing a keen ear for maintaining the movement in the party whilst displaying a strong technical skill set. A true specialist in dance music, she has honed her ability to select the right tune at the right time for maximum impact.

Amongst Australian DJs, Anna occupies a segment of the scene known only to the serious heads, though that hasn’t stopped her becoming widely regarded for adapting to all crowds. Her attention to detail pleases the serious chin strokers, while an innate ability to pick out the party movers in her collection brings clubbers to step to the floor for the first time.

Now standing in her own right as a headlining DJ, Anna has also deferred the spotlight to support international visitors such as Aril Brikha, Delano Smith, Terrence Parker, Ame and Matthias Tanzmann amongst others, becoming known as a valuable and efficient warm up selector.

However, it is at the peak time where her experience shines through, drawing on a love of classic recordings, whilst introducing new sounds at the cutting edge to form a unique attack on the club that is grounded in history, but consistently pushing the envelope.

As a passionate record collector, Anna has amassed a library of music that ranges from classic and soulful house to deep strains of techno, electronica, disco and nu-wave. A keen understanding of dance floor dynamics delivered with solid mixer technique, unique track selection and an exuberance behind the decks, ensures a night out that is not for the fainthearted.
