OUR PACKAGES FEATURE BOTH LIVE MUSIC & DJ
Get the best of both worlds as our packages feature both live music + DJ - yes! [unless of course you want DJ only - we have those packages too]
The majority of our leading artists double as DJs, so the benefits for you are; a seamless transition between live + DJ sets, DJ sets during artist + band breaks - meaning you have ‘ambience’ throughout the whole event, and lastly, the most cost-effective solution which saves you paying for two separate suppliers and equipment
End the night on a high with our popular DJ dance set allowing you and your guests to enjoy all your favourite dance anthems which overall gives the day a wonderful balance of both live music + DJ
HOW DOES PRICING WORK?
McGee offers a number of different packages to suit your event
Your package will be the same cost as advertised - McGee will offer you an accurate quote based on your artist and desired line up
TRAVEL COSTS
In addition to your package, the following travel costs are associated with booking an artist to Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island, Airlie Beach or Cairns

Return economy flights via Virgin Australia or Qantas, ex Brisbane
Flights tend to be rather reasonable either Proserpine Airport or Hamilton Island Airport - subject to flight schedules, your artist may need to travel the day before
Price guide: $200 - $350 one way, per performer

Comfortable accommodation is required for your artist, and if possible, the room rate to include breakfast
Price guide: $150 - $300 per room, per night, twin share

Your artist is able to travel on Virgin Australia or Qantas with their instruments via their APRA membership, however, they are unable to travel with speakers, amps, stands etc. The reason for this is the equipment is heavy, large and likely to be damaged during flights, therefore, the best solution is to hire a PA and necessary equipment via a local provider. McGee is more than happy to arrange this for you. Where possible, we will obtain two quotes and we will select the best and most cost effective solution
Price guide: This can vary from $250 - $2,000 subject to size of band, number of guests

When an event on either Hamilton Island, Hayman Island or Daydream Island, transfers tend to be included with accommodation, however, outside of these locations, transfers costs may be applicable
Price guide: $25 - $100 per transfer, subject to group size

There is a standard travel fee to cover the artists travel time and incidentals, such as, airport parking, meals, transit time
Price guide: This fee will range from $150 - $250 subject to the time connected to your event
Once you’ve chosen your desired artist or band, McGee will provide you a full quote including travel costs at the time of your enquiry
NO EXTRA FEES
McGee will make all accommodation and travel arrangements on your behalf – we do not charge any additional fees for this service
