Georgia Corowa is a Bundjalung, Kuungkari, and South Sea artist, renowned for her heartfelt and soulful music

Based on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), her music reflects a deep connection to the land, sea, and cultural heritage that shape her unique sound

Raised in a coastal town where the influence of First Nations, South Sea, and Torres Strait Islander communities was felt deeply, Georgia’s musical journey began in the family home, harmonizing with loved ones

Surrounded by natural musical talent, Georgia’s upbringing was enriched by the local church and family gatherings, fostering her love for music from an early age.

Her talent was honed further after completing an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts at ACPA, Brisbane, in 2008

Under the mentorship of Leah Purcell, Georgia’s musical abilities flourished. She has since shared the stage with celebrated artists like Emma Donovan, Deline Briscoe, Fred Leone, Xavier Rudd, Katie Noonan, and David Bridie, captivating audiences worldwide with her soulful voice and moving storytelling

Her current projects include performing with the vocal trio ‘Suga Cane Mamas’ and preparing for the Torres Strait Island musical theatre production ‘Straight from the Straits,’ showing at QPAC in August 2024!
