WHAT TYPE OF ARTISTS ARE WE LOOK FOR?
Soloists /Duos /Bands/ Groups /DJs
WHO ARE WE? McGee is an award-winning entertainment group specialising in wedding & corporate events with our inspiring collective of Artists. McGee was established in 2015 and currently based in SE Queensland.
WHY JOIN US? When you join McGee, you become a valuable part of our musical family. We are musicians ourselves and we understand what is most important to you. We want to celebrate you as an artist which is why we will always promote you that way. Let us share your incredible talent by allowing you to do what you do best – create a flawless atmosphere for weddings and events, and in return, we will offer you:
-Excellent pay rates [one of the highest in Australia!]
-Payment made within 7 days post-event
-Organised and detailed run sheets so you can focus on what you do best – perform!
-Cancellation fees for events that may cancel within 30 days prior to the performance
-Lead artists choose their players!
-GST payable to registered artists
-Travel fees when outside of the McGee catchment zones
-Meals to keep you energised and happy [where applicable]
-A supportive events team here to back you!

I play Bass and do BVs with McGee. The gigs that I play with McGee are always first class. McGee always puts 110% into the organisation of every event, as evidenced by their thorough run sheets. The pay rate is great, and the pay is always prompt - always the number 1 concern for working musicians. Not to mention, they are simply just legendary people to work for!! Overall, I can highly recommend working for McGee entertainment - why wouldn't you want to work for legends!? :p

WE LOOKING FOR QUALITY NOT QUANTITY
Not just anybody can work for McGee – we literally are looking for the best of the best! And we’re not just talking musically either – we want wonderful people who care about their job and clients, are professional in their attitude and will bring their A-game to every event!
To apply, you must be a professional musician/band already working in weddings/ private and corporate events.
All artists must be able to perform ceremony/ cocktail/ dinner and dance sets + offer a DJ dance set at the end [this is a skill we can help you with if you’re not already offering this]. You must also be willing to learn a few special requests for key moment songs for weddings.
Reliable vehicle and good quality production is an absolute must!
To be considered, you must have excellent promotional material including video, audio, imagery, bio and repertoire list.
